3 Ingredients High Protein Pasta Recipe

This one is a staple in our home! It’s super easy to make (I usually double or triple the batch) and I freeze the uncooked leftover so I can grab-and-boil whenever I feel like eating homemade pasta without having to make it every time from scratch.

Whether it is with pesto, cream, or marinara sauce, these noodles will turn out delicious.

Making noodles is waaay easier than you can imagine, so give them a try!

Ingredients:
• 2 1/4 C Whole Wheat Flour
• 6 eggs
• 1 tsp salt

Directions:
In a bowl add flour, eggs and salt. Knead all until dough is firm and homogeneous. Start rolling it out and cut it into noodles!! It can be done by hand or by the pasta machine. Bring water to a strong boil with salt (not oil) and place them in. Cook for 3-6 mins. Drain carefully, sprinkle some olive oil and serve with any sauce!

Notes:

  • When freezing for later, do it in serving sizes and make sure to wait until the water is boiling to take them off of the freezer.
  • Salt is what prevents them from sticking to each other, not oil!
  • If using a pasta machine, use plenty of flour in between stretches and cutting the pasta, it’s worth it.
  • I personally prefer to freeze them than drying them

I hope you enjoy this recipe and make them with different sauces throughout the month!

Love,

Veronica
