Amaaaazing Brownies Whole Wheat

There's something almost magical about a perfectly fudgy brownie. But what if we told you that you could have that same indulgent experience while using wholesome whole wheat flour? Welcome to the brownie recipe that will change everything.

The secret? Quality ingredients. Just brownies that taste like they came from a professional bakery, because they're that good.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25-35 minutes 
Total Time: 45 minutes 

Yields a 9x13 pan 

Ingredients:

1 C Unsalted Butter - Melted
2 C Sugar (1 C would do it for those who prefer less sugar)
4 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla Extract 
2/3 C Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 
1 C Whole Wheat Grandview Granary Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Powder 
1/2 Dark Chocolate Chips (or whichever you prefer- its optional)

Directions: 

  • Preheat the oven two 350 degrees.
  • In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar. 
  • Add the eggs and vanilla. 
  • Incorporate the the dry ingredients- cocoa powder, flour, salt, baking powder. Gently fold everything together with a spatula. 
  • Add the chocolate chips if you opt for it.
  • Pour batter into a greased 9x13 pan.
  • Bake 25-35 mins, until the toothpick comes out clean. Keep in mind that the melted chocolate chips can deceive you.
