Whole Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes Sugar-Free

With only 5 ingredients and one bowl you can make these healthy, nutrient-dense, fluffy, delicious, and easy to make pancakes!! They’re sugar-free and packed with the nutrition from our whole wheat flour. They will become your (and your kids) new favorite breakfast!

I also use it as a base for more dressed up pancakes, like chocolate chip or blueberry pancakes. It's super versatile!! Let’s jump to it.

Ingredients (Yields 16-20 4” pancakes)

  • 2 C of GG whole wheat flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp fine sea salt
  • 2 ½ cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

• Heat the skillet to medium-low heat.
• Whisk the dry ingredients in a bowl.
• Add the wet ingredients and mix until just combined, adding a little more buttermilk if needed.
• Pour the batter by ¼ cup onto the preheated griddle. Cook until you see bubbles on the surface, then flip and cook until golden on the bottom and cooked through, about 1-2 more minutes.
• Repeat with remaining batter and serve. Real maple syrup goes amazing with them.

I hope you have fun making these pancakes and keep creating memories at the table!!

Love,

Veronica
