Whole Wheat Skillet Baked Donut. Easy, Healthy, and Quick

It is packed with wholesome, real-food nutrition, naturally sweetened, and so incredibly easy to whip up that you’ll never look at a drive-thru donut the same way again. Cook Time: 25 minutes 
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

3/4 C Maple Syrup or Sugar
1 Egg
1 1/2 C Whole Wheat Flour (you can also use All Purpose)
1 TBSP Baking Powder
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 C Milk (You can also use water as a dairy-free alternative) 
1/4 C EV Olive Oil (optional) 
Butter and sugar for dusting 

Directions:

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. 
- Whisk maple syrup (or sugar) and egg until creamy.
- Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla, salt, milk, and olive oil. Whisk until well combined. 
- Grease the skillet (or pan), and pour the batter into it. 
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. 
- As soon as it is out, rub butter on the crust and sprinkle a bit of sugar on top.
